Eastern Australian states, Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory, will change their daylight saving start and end dates in 2008.
Daylight saving will begin the first Sunday in October and end the first Sunday in April.
Eastern states currently start and end daylight saving at different dates. This change will synchronize the daylight saving start and end dates of all eastern states.
